In order to answer this question, I must ask you a question, are you trying lose or put on weight? If the answer is put on weight, then consume your protein powder with milk. In order to put on weight, you must consume more calories than you burn. Milk contains a lot of calories where as water contains no calories. Milk is your best option here. You can add some extra calories by making a real protein milk shake. Simply add:
These 3 extra added ingredients will add a lot of calories and really help you pack on some size Oh, and your protein shakes are going to taste epic with these ingredients. I can’t begin to tell you the number of bananas I’ve consumed with my protein shakes and they tasted epic! The milk will also help build muscle and increase your recovery time, decreasing soreness. If you’re goal is to lose weight and you’re trying to get your calories as low as possible, go with water. Water contains 0 calories and your protein shake will still taste pretty good. How do you use protein powder with milk or water? Simply take a scoop(s) of your protein powder and put it into a container. Go ahead and shake it, and boom! You’ve made a protein shake.
If you want to add other ingredients like the ones I’ve mentioned above, go ahead and put them all into a blender. Read another post of mine.

Honestly, this is kind of a ridiculous question. No offence if you stumbled on this post by searching through Google. A mass gainer is simply there to assist anyone in putting on weight. Regardless if you’re skinny, fat, or chiseled like a Greek God. Theoretically, if you’re skinny, then you should be taking mass gainers to put on size. Don’t fall into the mass gainer trap. Is mass gainer good for skinny guys? Answered If you don’t take mass gainers that does not mean you won’t put on any size. If you’re goal is to put on weight and slap some muscles on that skinny little body of yours, you just need to consume more calories than your body burns. It really is that simply. No fancy supplement is needed.
If you’re taking mass gainers but are still not reaching the point where you’re consuming more calories than you burn, you will not put on weight. Are you struggling with consuming food? You’re not a big eater? Well, mass gainers can help you get the calories down your throat without making you sweat. I know for a fact I’m not a big eater, but when I still want to get some protein down me and don’t feel like chewing, a protein shake does the trick. That’s why I love these supplements. They should not replace your whole foods, you need your whole foods. These supplements that blend into shakes just make it a lot easier to reach your goals, so why not use them? I mean… it’s the modern era and we’ve advanced so much, other people did not have access to the incredible things we have access to, so why not use them, take advantage of them? So, is a mass gainer good for skinny guys? Yes. Make sure you go with a high quality, natural mass gainer. Read the ingredients and figure out what they mean. You don’t want to be shoving crap down your body after all. It depends which mass gainer you get. Some mass gainers have a bad effect on the body whiles doing what it says, and other mass gainers are good for the body whiles doing what it says. What exactly does this mean? Well, the mass gainers that do what it says on the box but are still bad for the body tend to be made up of poor quality ingredients. A notorious ingredient that are pumped into a lot of these mass gainers are artificial sugars. Even though it says a few grams of sugar on the box, there is much more in there. These are usually the cheap and cheerful mass gainer supplements that have bad effects on the body. They can even be big brands that sell these mass gainers that are bad for you. Mass gainers that are good for you, usually cost you more but are well worth the asking price. They’re made up of whole food ingredients and even go the extra mile to contain micro nutrients that a lot of people tend to forget about. I know I’m guilty of that, anybody else? When shopping for a mass gainer, look for an all-natural mass gainer or/and vegan mass gainer. These types of gainers are extracted from the earth and put into supplement containers with much less processing unlike the other cheap, crappy gainers. The more your food is processed, the less nutrients it contains. For example, I remember watching a video on how to get rid of acne permanently and the lovely lady in the video recommended magnesium oil. She gave a heads-up and said, “If you notice a tingly feeling when rubbing the magnesium oil on your skin, it’s because your body is deficient in the micronutrient, magnesium.” She went on to tell us how the food industry is processing food so much and because of it, we’ve been stripped of the nutrients that are essential for our body. So, choosing a mass gainer is critical to your health, so don’t take it likely, don’t rely on mass gainers to get your micro nutrients because you’ll most likely be disappointed. There are so many on the market it’s become extremely overwhelming, make sure to read descriptions, reviews, and research the ingredients of these mass gainers to be sure of what you’re putting into your body.
What if you don’t want to do all that research? Well, I would then recommend skipping those gainers and just eating whole foods. That way you will know exactly what you’re consuming, and it will be in its true form. To put on more weight, go ahead and eat potatoes, brown rice, meat, and drink plenty of milk. This will surely pack on the size you’ve always wanted. Previous post. |
